New details of Jan. 6 panel’s mystery messages emerge

[ad_1]

Meadows is the person whose name was redacted in that slide. Contents of that final deposition were described to POLITICO, which could not independently corroborate the identity of the intermediary or that Meadows directed any message be delivered to Hutchinson before her second deposition.

The other slide the Capitol riot committee unveiled at the end of its hearing with Hutchinson this week quoted an unnamed witness, now known to be the former Trump White House aide herself, describing multiple phone calls she received from allies of the former president.

“What they said to me is as long as I continue to be a team player, they know I’m on the right team,” the slide said. “I’m doing the right thing. I’m protecting who I need to protect, you know, I’ll continue to stay in good graces in Trump World. And they have reminded me a couple of times that Trump does read transcripts.”

Ben Williamson, a spokesperson for Meadows, provided the following statement to POLITICO: “No one from Meadows’ camp, himself or otherwise, has ever attempted to intimidate or shape Ms. Hutchinson’s testimony to the committee. Any phone call or message she is describing is at best deeply misleading.”

A lawyer for Hutchinson did not respond to a request for comment.

A spokesperson for the Jan. 6 committee declined to comment.

Cheney, during Tuesday’s blockbuster hearing with Hutchinson, suggested the messages broadcast were efforts by Trump allies to dissuade key witnesses from coming forward. Neither the sender nor the recipient of the messages were revealed at the time.

“I think most Americans know that attempting to influence witnesses to testify untruthfully presents very serious concerns,” Cheney said after presenting the messages. “We will be discussing these issues as a committee and carefully considering our next steps.”

In a post-hearing interview, Rep. Jamie Raskin (D-Md.) described the messages as possibly indicative of witness tampering.

“The vice chair released two different episodes of potential witness tampering, anonymously, for obvious reasons. We don’t want further intimidation of the same people,” Raskin told The Washington Post. “But we want this to be a warning to the people who are doing it that they can’t do it. It is a crime and this committee is taking it very seriously.”

Hutchinson’s testimony on Tuesday has shed significant new light on former President Donald Trump’s actions in the lead-up to the Capitol siege and sparked significant new leads for the select committee’s investigation. During her time in the Trump White House, she worked directly under Meadows and was sometimes called “the chief’s chief.”

Gabby Petito’s Family Win MAJOR First Legal Battle As Judge Calls Laundrie Statement ‘Objectively Outrageous’

[ad_1]

Seems like Gabby Petito‘s family has a better case than some experts predicted!

Last week marked the first day in court in the grieving parents’ lawsuit against Brian Laundrie‘s parents. The Petitos are claiming that Chris and Roberta Laundrie knew their son had killed his fiancée — and the act of covering it up caused the YouTuber‘s family undue stress as they searched in vain for their missing daughter.

Some legal experts felt after that first hearing that the judge was as skeptical as they were about the merits of the case. The question at hand was not whether Joseph Petito and Nichole Schmidt could prove the Laundries knew — that was for the trial. This initial hearing was for the judge to determine whether the case could move forward. In other words, does it even make sense that what the Laundries did or didn’t do could cause the family “emotional distress”? The Petitos’ attorney Patrick Reilly argued it did — by knowingly giving them false hope only to set them up for the worst news they could get.

Related: Gabby’s Mom SLAMS ‘Mercy Killing’ Claims In Shocking Murder Confession

Well, we got our answer in a ruling from Judge Hunter W. Carroll, who denied the Laundries’ attempts to dismiss the case before it even went to trial. Remember how he brought up the Johnny Depp/Amber Heard case? That wasn’t just to be provocative — it turns out that was extremely relevant to his ruling.

See, the one defamation claim Amber won was something Johnny’s former lawyer said — in which he described her and her friends staging a crime scene and lying to police. Even though the guy wasn’t even in Johnny’s employ anymore, the Pirates star was the one who had to pay for his lawyer’s words. That’s the issue here with the Laundries, who infamously said NOTHING, ghosting the family during their search for Gabby. But their attorney, Steven Bertolino, gave a statement on their behalf, saying:

“On behalf of the Laundrie family, it is our hope that the search for Miss Petito is successful and that Miss Petito is reunited with her family.”

Yeah. If they knew she was already dead, that absolutely gives false hope. There’s just no argument.

Related: Roberta Laundrie’s Letter Makes Their Case Stronger??

And it was that statement specifically — attributed to both Bertolino AND his clients — which tipped the scales for Judge Carroll, who called it “objectively outrageous” in his ruling:

“Because the Laundries’ statement by their attorney in the context of the unique faces of this case is objectively outrageous, the Court concludes that Plaintiffs [Petitos] have stated causes of actions for intentional infliction of emotional distress against the Laundries.”

The judge actually did agree with Bertolino that the Laundries had the right to just keep quiet, adding:

“If the facts of this case truly were about silence with no affirmative act by the Laundries, the Court would have resolved this case in the Laundries’ favor on the concept of legal duty… But they did not stay silent.”

Yeah. That one damning statement. They didn’t just keep quiet — if they knew, then they intentionally misled the Petitos, which constitutes intentionally doing something which would ultimately cause emotional distress.

Seems like they’ve got a case — and we’ve got a trial coming up. How much will we learn? Joseph Petito seems to think there’s a lot left to reveal, as he tweeted out the ruling with a hashtag saying “the truth will be revealed.”

We’ll let you know when anything new comes out in this endlessly twisting case.

From Madrid summit, NATO steps into more dangerous era – POLITICO

[ad_1]

Press play to listen to this article

MADRID — It’s riskier than the Cold War.

It’s less predictable, with fewer ground rules, a real danger of nuclear escalation, attritional bloodletting deeply scarring Ukraine, and no clear path back to any sort of détente.

NATO leaders on Thursday concluded a summit meeting in Madrid that positioned the alliance on the brink of a confrontation with Russia. Allies insisted that they would back Ukraine “as long as it takes” to repel Russian President Vladimir Putin’s armies, while also straining to keep the alliance away from a direct fight with Russia, warning that the conflict could spin out of control at virtually any moment.

The allies vowed to develop capabilities to mobilize more troops, more quickly along Russia’s border than at any point since the collapse of the Soviet Union, with new command posts across the Baltic nations and other eastern allies once trapped behind the Iron Curtain that are now the most hawkish toward Moscow.

But unlike at the height of the Cold War between the U.S. and USSR more than a generation ago, the current standoff is not anchored in the balance of two big, superpower adversaries. The nuclear nonproliferation architecture of the 1980s and 1990s has mostly disintegrated. The historically nonaligned countries of Finland and Sweden have taken sides.

Cyber warfare, disinformation, high-tech weapons like hypersonic missiles and armed drones, and new domains of conflict like the Arctic and outer space have all injected previously unseen and highly uncertain risks.

NATO Secretary-General Jens Stoltenberg, at his closing news conference in Madrid, bluntly acknowledged that the peril now exceeded that of the Cold War. And he pointedly warned Putin that any encroachment on allied territory would instantly bring the full wrath of Western military might against him.

“We live in a more dangerous world and we live in a more unpredictable world,” Stoltenberg said. “And we live in a world where we have actually a hot war going on in Europe, with large-scale military operations we haven’t seen in Europe since the Second World War.”

“Of course, this is imposing suffering on the Ukrainian people — we see that every day and we pay tribute to the courage, to their bravery,” Stoltenberg continued. “At the same time, we also know that this can get worse — because if this becomes a full-scale war between Russia and NATO, then we’ll see suffering, damage, death, destruction at a scale which is much, much worse than what we see in Ukraine today.”

Then Stoltenberg laid down the line.

“We have so significantly increased our presence in the eastern part of the alliance — with more than 40,000 troops under direct NATO command — to remove any room for miscalculation, misunderstanding in Moscow about our readiness to protect every inch of NATO territory,” he said. “That’s NATO’s core responsibility: to make sure that there is no misunderstanding in the minds of any adversary, that if they do anything like what Russia has done to Georgia in 2008 or Ukraine now, that will trigger the full response from the whole alliance.”

Tectonic shift

Spanish Prime Minister Pedro Sánchez said Russia’s invasion of Ukraine amounted to a “tectonic change in the international order” and that allies were forced to act because they could not take their own security, or peace in Europe, for granted anymore.

Stoltenberg, Sánchez, U.S. President Joe Biden and other leaders cited the historic decision of Finland and Sweden to abandon years of non-alignment and join NATO, which stands to vastly increase the alliance’s capabilities, particularly in cold-weather warfare, in the Baltic region and the Arctic — all of which created substantial new challenges for Russia.

(Still, accepting the two Nordic nations into the alliance requires ratification by all 30 allied parliaments and Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan on Thursday raised the possibility of another obstacle, saying he would insist that Finland and Sweden extradite dozens of people Turkey has identified as alleged terrorists. “Defensible politics and principled foreign policy can be carried out as long as the words are kept,” Erdoğan said.)

Biden, speaking at his own news conference, said that the expansion of the alliance showed how the war had fundamentally backfired on Putin.

“I told Putin that if he invaded Ukraine, NATO would not only get stronger, but we get more united,” Biden said. “And we would see democracies in the world stand up and oppose his aggression, and defend the rules-based order. That’s exactly what we’re seeing today. This summit was about strengthening our alliances, meeting the challenges of our world as it is today and the threats we’re going to face in the future.”

He added: “Putin thought he could break the transatlantic alliance. He tried to weaken us. He expected our resolve to fracture. But he’s getting exactly what he did not want.”

But other allies conceded that despite NATO unity, the danger of a major conflict had only increased.

“We are definitely in the most dangerous security situation in 30 years,” Estonian Prime Minister Kaja Kallas said in a brief interview with POLITICO after the summit. “We are not only talking about conventional war, but we are talking about cyber warfare, we are talking about information warfare, and we are also talking about hybrid attacks that we see in different parts of the world. So we are in a very dangerous era.”

In response to all this, NATO leaders adopted a once-in-a-decade strategic blueprint, called the “Strategic Concept,” which starkly branded Russia as “the most significant and direct threat to Allies’ security and to peace and stability in the Euro-Atlantic area.” It was a sea-change from the previous Strategic Concept of 2010, which then referred to wanting a “strategic partnership” with Russia.

Beijing-Moscow axis

In their blueprint, the leaders also stated their perception of new threats from China. “The People’s Republic of China’s (PRC) stated ambitions and coercive policies challenge our interests, security and values,” they wrote, adding: “The PRC’s malicious hybrid and cyber operations and its confrontational rhetoric and disinformation target Allies and harm Alliance security … It strives to subvert the rules-based international order, including in the space, cyber and maritime domains.”

The allies also drew a link between the fire-breathing dragon of China and the growling bear of Russia. “The deepening strategic partnership between the People’s Republic of China and the Russian Federation and their mutually reinforcing attempts to undercut the rules-based international order run counter to our values and interests,” they wrote.

Kallas said it was crucial for allied leaders to put the Russian threat on paper in black and white. Estonia and its Baltic neighbors, Latvia and Lithuania, have long complained that Western European allies have been negligent in responding to the Russian threat, and too forgiving of Putin’s malign military activities because of their own economic interests and reliance on Russian energy.

“Understanding and putting into wording that Russia is the most direct and imminent threat to the allied security, I think this is the most important,” Kallas said, describing the outcomes of the summit. “The second for us is, of course, that everybody has heard our concerns and we move from the tripwire concept or the deterrence posture to defense posture.”

She added: “We are bolstering the eastern flank and the defense of our region because the level of aggression has risen.”

The demand to be heard by smaller allies like the Baltic nations is yet another novel factor in the new confrontation with Russia. Last year, in the European Council, the Baltics and Poland quickly put a stop to a push by France and Germany to hold a summit meeting with Putin.

The eastern countries argued Russia had not responded clearly enough to overtures made by Biden during a summit meeting in Geneva. Putin complained that “Russophobic” nations were gaining too much sway in Europe.

Since the invasion, the eastern countries have pushed hardest for the West to support Ukraine, and to help allies. And at times their hawkishness has unsettled bigger allies.

Lithuania, for instance, recently blocked some Russian rail cargo meant for the Russian exclave of Kaliningrad, creating a new, potentially dangerous point of tension and infuriating the Kremlin.

Vilnius said it was acting in accordance with EU sanctions. But German Chancellor Olaf Scholz, who voiced unwavering support for Ukraine at both the NATO summit and a G7 summit earlier this week, warned against interfering in the transit of goods.

During a news conference in Madrid, Scholz urged Lithuania and the EU to lift restrictions on freight transport from Russia to Kaliningrad, arguing that EU sanctions against Moscow should not apply there. “We are dealing here with traffic between two parts of Russia,” Scholz said.

Scholz slapped back at Putin’s complaint that NATO was allegedly pursuing “imperialist ambitions,” saying the Russian dictator was projecting his own mindset onto the alliance.

“To be honest, that’s pretty ridiculous,” Scholz said. “Because, in fact, NATO is a defensive alliance. It does not attack other countries and does not intend to do so. It is not a threat to anyone in its own neighborhood. In fact, it is Putin who has made imperialism the goal and object of his policy. He is the one who comments in essays on the fact that parts of his neighboring countries are actually part of his country. And he has taken action in Ukraine to seize a piece of land for himself. That’s imperialism and cannot be called anything else.”

Norwegian Prime Minister Jonas Gahr Støre said things have changed since 2010 when NATO leaders aimed to build a working relationship with Moscow.

“I was present at the NATO summit adopting the former strategic concept — I was foreign minister — and then we had the aspiration of a partnership,” Støre said. But citing “the daily destruction, the extraordinary brutal use of military force” in Ukraine, the Norwegian leader added, “In 2022, I think, you know, nobody doubts the seriousness of the situation.”

Among the most crucial decisions taken by leaders at the summit were plans to strengthen NATO’s so-called force posture, including with ambitious plans to be able to mobilize as many as 300,000 troops within 30 days. There was some confusion and disagreement about when such a capability might be achieved, but the resolve among allies to bolster their presence on the eastern flank was not in the slightest doubt.

The new model is about “more assured availability” of forces from allies, said one senior NATO official. “More readiness, more exercising, more preparation for the locations that these forces might have to deploy to — particularly in defense of the alliance — so that is the heart of what is new.”

“It’s a work in progress,” the senior official added. “We will continue to work with allies over the next year or so to identify the forces that can be attached to this model and to populate the model. But we know the forces exist … So this is an exercise of pre-identifying forces, which can be linked to defense plans.”

Several allied leaders, including U.K. Prime Minister Boris Johnson and French President Emmanuel Macron, used the Madrid summit to announce additional military assistance for Ukraine. Dutch Prime Minister Mark Rutte spoke out forcefully, saying the alliance as a whole needed to do much, much more to tilt the war in Ukraine’s favor.

Race against the clock

But even as they pledged to support Ukraine for “as long as it takes,” it was impossible for leaders to guarantee such open-ended commitment. Ukraine’s financial needs are staggering, running from approximately €5 billion to €7 billion a month to keep the country afloat. And it needs longer-range artillery, as well as more sophisticated missile defense systems.

Biden, in particular, insisted that the U.S. support for Ukraine would not waver. But, in fact, he is facing midterm Congressional elections later this year in which his Democratic party could lose control of both chambers of Congress. If that happens, it is far from clear that a Republican-controlled House of Representatives would be willing to approve new packages of assistance. Some allies are also deeply worried about the possibility that former President Donald Trump could return to the White House, and renew the turbulence that he often brought to NATO meetings.

In Madrid this week, however, there was only rock-solid unity.

In conjunction with the Madrid summit, the U.K. announced an additional £1 billion in aid for Ukraine, but the U.K.’s business and energy secretary, Kwasi Kwarteng, said some of that money would come from unspent funds that had been allocated for the fight against climate change. It was an example of how leaders are being forced to shortchange long-term policy goals and future generations to address the immediate imperatives of the war.

Johnson, at the G7 summit in Germany and also in Madrid, stressed that Ukraine must determine the terms of any ceasefire or settlement, and he has warned that trying to stop the fighting now would only help Russia, which is occupying large swaths of territory in southern and eastern Ukraine.

“If Ukraine were to be crushed, or forced into a bad peace, the consequences for freedom around the world would be appalling,” Johnson said on Thursday. “And that view is shared by everyone in NATO.”

Biden, at his news conference, invoked NATO’s collective defense clause, known as Article 5. “An attack on one is an attack on all,” he said. “And we will defend every inch of NATO territory, every inch of NATO territory.”

EXPLOSIVE New Ezra Miller Report Reveals Violent Accusations – And Iceland Choking Victim Breaks Her Silence!

[ad_1]

Ezra Miller is already facing a string of potentially career-ending accusations, but a new report by Variety is unveiling even more disturbing claims.

In the new article out on Thursday, The Flash star was accused of harassment by a woman they met up with in Germany last year. At the same time, the woman they went viral for putting in a chokehold while at a bar in Iceland is also speaking out and breaking down exactly what happened!

Related: Ezra Miller Housing Three Young Children & Their Mother At ‘Unsafe’ Farm

Iceland Behavior

For starters, Carlos Reynir, a former bartender at Prikið Kaffihús, a bar located in the heart of Reykjavík, Iceland, opened up about what it was like to serve Ezra so much. They became a bit of a regular in their time in the country, though they could be a bit problematic, Carlos said:

“There was something with Ezra.”

“If they weren’t lighting incense or candles, or even bringing in their own Bluetooth speaker and playing it super loud to overpower our music, there was always something. We’d approach them and say, ‘Hey, do you mind? There are other people here.’ It was a bit of a chuckle. And then they would go, ‘Yeah, sure,’ and they’d stop, only to continue it a little bit later.”

He went on to open up about having to break up several fights Ezra found himself at the center of. The first was a heated argument between the nonbinary actor, who uses they/them pronouns, and another man. Things turned physical when Miller put him in a chokehold and later slapped him. Carlos had to intervene. Ezra apologized and the patron laughed it off, Carlos said:

“We just brushed it off as two friends getting drunk and getting in a fight. It’s Iceland. That happens twice a weekend.”

The second incident — once that was captured on camera for the whole world to see — was a lot more difficult to ignore.

Iceland Choking Video

In April 2020, a video of the actor putting a young woman into a chokehold while they were outside a bar went viral. At the time, it was hard to tell if the whole thing was serious or a prank considering the girl was smiling at the start. We’re now hearing it was a bit of both.

Speaking to Variety, the woman (who wishes to remain anonymous for privacy) said she had been speaking to the 29-year-old performer inside the bar after noticing they had scraped up feet, visible through their flip-flops. She and three other sources claim Ezra said they were battle scars from a fight, which prompted the woman to joke as she walked away:

“But just so you know, I could take you in a fight.”

Miller allegedly replied:

“You really want to fight?”

She said to meet her in the smoking area in two minutes. It was all supposed to be a “joke,” though Ezra allegedly took it seriously when they were fed up. Her friend had approached Miller and told them that he’d heard the actor didn’t want to fight, the woman recalled:

“My friend didn’t have to say that. It was just a joke, obviously — but [Miller] took that literally and got super mad and came running outside.”

This is when the friend began recording the video, during which Ezra can be seen shouting at the woman asking if she wants to fight before getting her into a chokehold. The cameraman quickly reaches for the actor to get them to stop as the video cuts off. You can see it (below):

So intense!!

The victim explained in her own words:

“I think it’s just fun and games — but then it wasn’t. All of a sudden, [they’re] on top of me, choking me, still screaming in my face if I want to fight. My friend who’s filming sees [they’re] obviously not joking and it’s actually serious, so he stops filming, and pushes [them] off me as [they’re] still trying to fight me. Two guy friends of mine are actually holding [Miller] back as [they’re] screaming, ‘This is what you wanted! This is what you wanted!’

Ezra also allegedly spit in her friend’s face “multiple times” — especially dangerous considering this was all at the start of the coronavirus pandemic! Eventually, Carlos, the bartender who arrived early for work, saw the situation getting “way out of hand.” He recalled:

“[Miller] grabs me by the throat as I’m trying to usher them out the [back] door and tells me they’re not leaving.”

Miller repeatedly claimed the woman’s friend had pushed them, though the bartender insists “they didn’t.” He continued:

“[Ezra] proceeded to spit in my face several times, so with the final push I closed and locked the door.”

Carlos then ran to the front of the pub to lock the front door as well. He says he saw Ezra banging on the door while screaming to be let in before a car with two local friends arrived and drove ’em away. Carlos’ account of the situation was corroborated by three other sources, including management at the bar, according to the outlet. The female victim reported the incident to the police but didn’t press charges. The ordeal greatly “ruined [Miller’s] reputation thoroughly in Iceland,” Carlos added:

“They stopped coming to other bars shortly after.”

He added:

“They had this wonderful mask on as this total sweetheart with a completely open mind, who’s ready to help and talk to anyone. But as soon as someone does something they don’t agree with or doesn’t like, it’s their fault, not [Ezra’s].”

“To this day, if I see Ezra Miller, I’ll look the other way and keep walking, but I still wish them the best. I don’t want this to be their life. I want them to stop going through the celebrity craziness that they’re going through and be happy. Even though they did all this s**t to me and my friends, they’re still a person that deserves good things, but not if they continue acting the way that they have. You get what you give.”

Well. They do say karma’s a bitch…

Germany Harassment Accusations

If that already wasn’t enough to unpack, the report also included brand new harassment allegations from a woman named Nadia. She claims she first met the Fantastic Beasts alum while visiting LA in January 2020. She didn’t know who they were but enjoyed talking to them:

“They said they were a performer. My friend kept on saying, ‘It’s Ezra Miller!’ And I kept on asking my friend, ‘Who’s Ezra Miller?’”

They discussed “society” and “spiritual things.” Before leaving, she asked to exchange numbers and just five minutes later, she was already receiving “pretty adult, X-rated” text messages:

“Which, by the way, was totally fine — there was nothing abusive about it. I’m just not into texting like this. I told them to stop, and they stopped on the spot.”

Well, that’s good to hear.

Related: Ezra Reportedly Had ‘Frequent Meltdowns’ On Flash Set Before Arrest!

They apparently kept texting in general though which led to them hooking up on the actor’s last night in LA. She said:

“They were super caring, super nice. I had no reason to suspect anything bad was ever going to happen with them.”

Over the next two years, they tried to meet again in person but their schedules and the pandemic kept getting in the way. They were supposed to spend Christmas 2021 together but her flight was canceled three times leading her to fear they might never get to the next step in their relationship:

“They’d been super nice to me, and I didn’t feel good to not show up and to refuse the invitations. I thought maybe I’ve lost a friend because we’ve missed each other so many times.”

In February 2022, she invited Miller to visit her in her home country should they be in Berlin for the Berlinale International Film Festival (which they weren’t going to be since they had nothing to promote). But at 4 a.m. one morning, Nadia remembers receiving a text:

“I received a message, like, ‘Hey, I’ve arrived in Berlin, but I might have to go tomorrow.’”

Miller hadn’t gotten a hotel and it was freezing out, so she invited them to stay with her — BIG MISTAKE.

“When they arrived, they were super nice, super polite, asking me if they could come in. When I said my house is shoes off, they had no problem taking their shoes off.”

Things were good until The Perks of Being a Wallflower star started rolling a cigarette inside:

“I was like, ‘Yeah, you need to smoke this outside or on the balcony. There’s no smoking in my house.’”

She says they didn’t listen:

“And this I’m quoting word for word. They started with ‘I’m a maker of planets. Tobacco is sacred.’”

It’s alleged they went on a “tirade” saying that they could do “whatever they want whenever they want, basically.” Nadia went on to insist that guests should listen to the house rules but “they looked at [her] with this really mean, stern face, and told [her], ‘Sit down,’ like they were ordering a dog.” They confirmed they were talking to her “like a dog.”

“I said, ‘OK, if you talk to me like this, it’s time for you to go.’”

Instead, she says, Miller launched into a string of insulting accusations:

“That just set them off. I asked them to leave about 20 times, maybe more. They started insulting me. I’m a ‘transphobic piece of s**t.’ I’m a ‘Nazi.’ It became so, so stressful for me. They were going around my house, looking at everything, touching everything, spreading tobacco leaves on the floor. It felt disgusting and very intrusive.”

She felt “unsafe” and felt they ““could somehow attack me physically.” On the Nazi remarks, she added:

“I asked them if they remember I told them I’m a descendant of Holocaust survivors, so why would they say that to me? They answered, screaming at me, ‘Yes, but how many people of my family died?’ Because many people in their family died. I was like, Oh, OK, this is a game of who’s got the most trauma.”

“The only thing I said to them was ‘Leave my house. Go away. Go away. Leave. Can you leave now?’ Like a broken record.”

She even called the police because things got so scary:

“I told them I was calling the police because they were refusing to leave. And while I was calling the police, Ezra was calling the police — or pretending to call the police. I don’t know.”

She says Miller then went into Nadia’s bedroom and when she asked again for them to leave things escalated:

“They started to shout that they were a rape survivor and I was triggering them. They started to say I had assaulted them. I had beat them up. I had hurt them.”

Eventually, she blocked Ezra at the entrance to her apartment and said she was surprised the police hadn’t arrived yet. They then gathered their stuff and left. She called the cops to say that everything was settled — but it wasn’t!

Thirty minutes later, at nearly 6 a.m., the embattled star allegedly began loudly banging on the apartment building’s door and screaming that Nadia had stolen their passport and money. She quickly realized they left a second jacket with the belongings in the pocket and tossed it over her balcony. She noticed Ezra had texted her just moments earlier but she didn’t see those texts until a few days later, her social worker confirmed. Nadia declared:

“I did not feel safe.”

One of Nadia’s friends told Variety:

“I was worried. I think she was misled — she had a memory of them from when they had time in L.A., and what she got [in Berlin] was really different. It sounded dangerous.”

Nadia has not seen Ezra since that night and blocked their phone number. It particularly bothered her to continue to see alarming stories about them, now realizing they have a”pattern” of “abuse”:

“One of the reasons I did not feel safe is after they left, I Googled Ezra to see maybe something is going on with them. And I saw a report in the press that they made some sort of death threats to KKK members via Instagram.”

On January 27, Ezra posted a message “for the Beulaville chapter of the North Carolina Ku Klux Klan.” They said in a now-deleted vid:

“Look, if y’all want to die, I suggest just killing yourselves with your own guns, okay? Otherwise, keep doing exactly what you’re doing right now — and you know what I am talking about — and then, you know, we’ll do it for you if that’s really what you want.”

Nadia now fears if Ezra’s fans learned her full identity they could show up at her home. How terrifying… Now, she’s less concerned about facing retribution from the actor since they’re facing so many scandals:

“They’re probably not thinking about me anymore because I’m just one of many people they abused.”

Wow. Just so harrowing. And as we said, these are just a few of MANY allegations against the Scarlet Speedster. Thoughts?
